National Invasive Species Awareness Week 2024: Uniting Against Invasive Threats

As our nation's ecosystems continue to face unprecedented challenges from invasive species, National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW) stands as a beacon of unity and action. From February 26 to March 3, 2024, NISAW will bring together communities, organizations, and individuals across the nation to raise awareness and combat the threats posed by invasive species.

February 5, 2024 at 07:27 AM EST - "We're honored to be recognized for the strides we've made to advance accessibility at Blue Shield," said Mike Stuart, president and chief executive officer, Blue Shield of California. "As we work to build a healthcare system worthy of our family and friends, it's equally important to create a workplace that reflects those same values, one that empowers the talented employees who drive our mission forward every day. Accessibility and disability inclusion aren't just workplace priorities — they're fundamental to creating an environment where everyone can thrive, contribute and feel valued."
